Family Center
The Family Center continues to provide a wonderful atmosphere for leisure recreation. Our multi-use facility offers a wide variety of activities and opportunities. The Family Center features a large open room, which breaks down into three smaller rooms capable of offering several functions at one time. There is a "Library Room" with several selections of hard cover books, children's books, comfortable seating, fireplace, and kitchenette. The "Media Room" offers a big screen television, VCR, and selection of videos which are kept at the Family Center desk. The "Meeting Room" offers open floor space for various programs while meetings are not in progress. Two large washrooms are accessible from inside and outside the Center. Watercraft rental fees are collected at the front desk. Sports equipment such as basketballs, hockey sticks and pucks, pickleball, badminton, tennis, and volleyballs, can all be borrowed. Just off the deck of Pool Two, the air-conditioned building is accessible from the attached "Sun Shelter".

The Imagination Station in the Family Center
Let their imagination take them away. Our newest addition to the Family Center is our 5 and under room. "Imagination Station" is located in the room just adjacent to the lobby of the Family Center. Children will truly enjoy playing in our interactive and colorful playroom. The Imagination Station houses a variety of books that include classic nursery rhymes, books by favorites such as Eric Carle, and a selection of multi-cultural stories. A variety of toys, educationa puzzles, and puppets will also delight the younger group. We will also feature storybook programs with structured activities on various weekends. Our main play area will consist of a wooden play house, activity tables, rocking boat, fire truck and jungle gym. Kids and parents alike will enjoy the many opportunities that the Imagination Station offers.

The Pavilion
The Pavilion is home to a variety of recreational activities. Summer Saturday evening entertainment ranges from DJ's, Prize Bingo, country entertainment, Reggae bands, to children's activities such as Rocket Races and Kickball. The Pavilion also offers access to bathrooms, picnic tables, and grills. The Pavilion will have a brand-new look in Spring 2007.

The RecPlex
The RecPlex is home to the Multi-Purpose Room (accomodations for 300 - 500 people), the Ice Box Ice Cream Parlor, Creation Station Arts and Crafts Room, The "Q" Recreation Facility and Game Room and Forged Rock Adventure Miniature Golf.

Lakeside Center Complex
Our entire Lakeside Center Complex has restricted member use and that only those individuals over 21 years of age are allowed access at all times.

The Lakeside Center houses the highly popular Cyber Space Café with computers and internet access, Adult Craft Room, and Library/Card Table Room. There is a lending library and satellite TV installation for the surround sound entertainment lounge. Our Recreation Path also ends in this area providing miles of walking among the natural beauty of Woodhaven Lakes.

The Lakeview Building offers open floor space on the upper level where there is table/chair storage and a kitchen. The upper level also houses a ping pong table that is open to member use. A ten-foot upper level deck runs the length of the building. It offers one of the most spectacular views of Black Oak Lake. Below the deck is a 30 X 40 foot cement patio that can be accessed from the deck by a staircase. The lower level is home to the Fitness Center and offers shower facilities within the newly renovated and expanded bathrooms. The outside area between the Lakeside and Lakeview Buildings is home to an Amphitheatre and staging area where summer movies and outdoor entertainment can be held.

For Teens & Kids

The "Q"
The "Q" is a recreation facility for teens and children. There are arcade games, a pool table, and a lounge with TV and movies available. Miniature golf and shuffleboard are also located near The "Q". Basketballs and tennis equipment can be checked out as well. The "Q" is located inside the RecPlex facility.
