Our Pools & Beach
Swimming is a huge part of summer fun at Woodhaven. There are two different pools and a beach area for swimming.

Pool 1 is located in what is known as our sports core area near the Pavilion, General Store and Activity Center. Pool 1 is equipped with a diving board, and children's wading pool.

Pool 2 at Woodhaven is located near our Family Center on Woodhaven Lake. Pool 2 is equipped with a slide and also offers a children's wading area.

The beach area is located on Woodhaven Lake by the Family Center and provides an excellent white sandy beach for sun bathing. Near the beach we offer several different types of watercraft rentals including paddleboats, row boats and canoes. Watercrafts can be rented by the 1/2 hour, hour or day for a minimal fee.

Summer Aquatic Programs

Hydro-Fit Aquacise
Our Aquacise instructors provide aerobics in the water utilizing Hydro-Fit equipment.

WAK - Water Activities for Kids
On Saturdays, the lifeguards invite children between the ages of 6 and 12 years to come and join in on wacky and wild games with them.

Family Night Swim
On Friday evenings it's time for the whole family to get an early start on the weekend of fun with a Family Night Swim at Pool 1. All children must have an attending parent or grandparent.

Adult Night Swim
On alternating Saturday nights at Pool 1, it's the adults' turn at enjoying the peaceful warm evenings of swimming. Participants must be at least 21.

Teen Night Swim
On alternating Saturday Nights at Pool 1 teens are invited to join in on the night-time fun, in the pool or on the deck. Participants between 13-20 years old only!

Lap Swim
Stay in shape and feel great. This is open to those 21 years of age and older and all bathers must only swim laps through the duration of their stay.

Children's Learn To Swim Lessons
Red Cross certified swimming lessons are offered for children from 6 to 12 years of age and are taught by Red Cross Certified Water Safety Instructors. There are two-week sessions offered at Woodhaven. Pre-registration is required. Cost is $20 per child, per session.

Parent - Tot Swimming Lessons
These lessons emphasize water adjustment, preparatory activities and water enjoyment for parents and their children five years of age and younger.
