Chapel-in-the-Woods began shortly after the development of Woodhaven property in 1970. Informal gatherings were held at the "Round-Up" each Sunday and led by a lay minister. Some things have changed throughout the years, including where we meet today. We are now nestled in a wooded area overlooking a beautiful meadow. Although we have increased the variety of our Christian programming and activities, some things have remained the same. We continue to present the salvation plan from God's word and provide a variety of music and speakers for worship, prayer, and fellowship. During Chapel services, there is a Children's Church program provided for ages four through ten in June, July and August.
All Woodhaven property owner's and their guests are welcome to attend the Chapel worship services each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. throughout the summer months. The Committee believes this beautiful resort we enjoy year after year is a gift from God, and we offer an opportunity for everyone to worship Him while they are at Woodhaven. Logs are provided for seating, but you may prefer to bring lawn chairs and blankets.|
