Board of Director Election 2008

Woodhaven's Board of Directors is the governing body of the Woodhaven Association and receives its authority from Woodhaven's By-laws. The duties of the Board of Director's include managing and controlling the affairs of the Woodhaven Association with the guidance and assistance of employed management personnel including the General Manager and Exective Director.

The Board of Directors consists of seven members of the Woodhaven Association. Directors serve a minimum of a four year term and are elected by the Association membership. Elections are held every two (2) years (even numbered years).

Saturday, April 26	Affidavits due at Association Office, by 2:00 p.m. Petitions available at Association Office, 8:30 a.m.
Sunday, June 8	Petitions and resumes due in the Assocation Office, 2:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 14	Election Committee Meets (Association Secretary, President and candidates) Deadline for candidate removal from ballot, position statement for publication due in office, 2:00 p.m.
Sunday, June 29	Deadline for free ad in July Woodhaven News. Deadline for submitting answers to questions generated by the Communications Committee, due in Association Office by 2:00 p.m.
Saturday, July 12	Candidates' Forum, 1 p.m. at the Family Center
July 14 - 16	Ballots will be mailed between these dates
Thursday, August 14	Postmark deadline for ballots
Saturday, August 23	Count Ballots
Sunday, August 24	Annual Meeting
Monday, August 25	Seat New Board
